So, this is the 2nd day in a row, of watching this Star Wars documentary before dinner. Austin studies it with such vigor and it brings Ava to a standstill. I didn't think Alexi could sit still, but when this is on, he's frozen in time. I couldn't believe it, I just had to record it. I really have no idea why/how these kids are SO into that silly Star Wars stuff. Its like they've been fed this nonsense from birth. TOTALLY weird. Who knew Star Wars was entertaining???
(Excuse the picture orientation, from top to bottom pics were most recent to oldest)
Sofar this week, Mommy duty has been in full effect.
Alexi naps, Austin picks his nose, and Ava passes out in Mommy's lap.
Its hard to tell in this picture, but Ava is freaking out, when she is only afew inches off the ground. She does this every time. Then, she'll go climb back up 3 stories.
Austin is getting harder and harder to capture with a still camera.
Alexi is such a caring brother, he'll share dirty ice with Ava anytime.
Sno-torious B.I.G. wasn't the only fun we had. Austin went to go see the newest Muppet movie with Mommy, and Alexi was able to play Lego Star Wars with his older siblings. To wrap up all the fun, piano lessons at Lolo's.
I've finally finished Alexi's 1 year old video montage. 205 pictures out of 365 days. My goal was to finish this BEFORE his 2nd birthday. This was a neat project because it allowed us backtrack our crazy year with all the trips and parties. We hope you enjoy this as much as we did.
Austin had his first shopping excursion with his Lola. Of course, it was on the Magnificent Mile. He was so patient while everyone shopped, that Lola bought him a Lego Star Wars set. Afterwards, he wanted 'relax' at Auntie Emily's place. Next trip, Ava will get her visit to American Girl.
You know what is really dynamite about this video clip??? Afew hours before this dance session, Ava smashed her thumb in the steel gates of our condo building!!! Shakira ain't got nuttin on Ava!!!
Whoops.... we are alittle behind on blog updates. I'm really trying to post more often. The last few months have been busy with colds, holiday outings, AUSTIN TURNING 4, and celebrations with our loved ones. Austin is ready to start his 2nd session of preschool, Ava is becoming chatty, and Alexi had his first haircut. Our little kids are starting to become their own characters. Everyday is another adventure.
As we start 2012, what better way to ring in the new year than a trip to the park???? Only in Chicago....
Have you ever seen those nature shows, where they have night vision on, to captures in the nighttime wild? Bright and early, these Aggie kids are up at 6:30AM
Austin, the professional he is, was in it for the toys. Alittle background, Ava's fingernails are digging into me and Alexi only started crying when he saw Santa.
